That one is excellent (10/12/68), even if not perfectly executed. 3/2/69 is really nice too.

The Live/Dead St. Stephen will always be my favorite. I pretty much like any version from 1969, but these are a few I really dig:

Two From the Vault

10/20/68

2/7/69

2/21/69

DP 16

I like the revival ones from '76 too, especially the super-long one from 6/9/76

Thanks for the suggestions. I know you gave my 2/7 so I'll check that out.

Stumbled upon video for 1977-12-30 tonight and the st. stephen from that is really smoking as well.

wait, you just said you're going to check it out. da. well if you even remotely like '69, you're gonna dig this one!

i recommend streaming all the feb. '69 shows when you get a chance. all similar but different, if you get my drift. but the playing is some of the most ferocious you'll ever hear.
